Inarguably the most sought after trekking destination in the world, Nepal has 7 of the top 10 tallest mountains in the world including Mount Everest and Mount Kanchenjunga, the highest and 3rd highest mountains in the world respectively. The Himalayan peaks of Nepal are a prominent fixture for any a visitor that sets foot in the country, whether it’s their view from one’s hotel window, a journey to their base camps or a mountaineer’s ascent to their tops. From a low of 1000 meters at the Terai plains to an altitude measuring as high as Mount Everest (8850 meters), Nepal’s mountains are some of the most stunning and imposing in the world.
Nepal’s extreme geographical spectrum provides nature lovers of flora and fauna a world where every type of vegetation is possible. From the treeless steppes of the Trans-Himalayan region in the farthest north and the fir and hemlock of the higher valleys to the rhododendron, pine and oak of the intermediate altitudes and the sissau and sal forests of the Terai, Nepal is an ecologist’s paradise. The red panda, ibex, yak and tiger are some of its most treasured wildlife.

Most of our treks featured below concentrate within the regions of Mount Everest and Annapurnas, and are designed according to various levels of difficulty. Whether your desire is to embark on an easy-going walk through picturesque villages stopping in village homes for the night, or on a full-fledged high altitude trek crossing passes above 5000 meters, Nepal has plenty of each to offer.

All the treks in Nepal follow traditional routes, well-trodden by men and ponies before the days of the road. Daily distances vary from trek to trek but the longer, high-altitude treks usually cover a distance of 10-17km per day. The time spent trekking ranges from 3 to 8 hours but averages 5 to 6 hours per day. We usually set off early in the morning and finish around three or four in the afternoon.
