DESCRIPTION:

This itinerary is designed for those eager to plunge deeply in some of the most remote and ancient forest and pastures of Bhutan’s central Bumthang valleys. This fifteen days tour will take you to all the cultural centers of the west of the Kingdom as well as the beautiful Bumthang valley with its numerous temples and picturesque villages. Because we know that although you may be an avid walker you might not have the time or energy to embark on a full-fledged trek, this itinerary includes a three-day hike in the central Bumthang valley so that you can have a taste of life in the Kingdom beyond the road. All camping and cooking equipment, as well as horses to haul luggage will be included in this portion of the tour.
